Denis Nagasaki

Vice President, Portfolio Strategy

Denis is Vice President of Portfolio Strategy at PaceZero Capital Partners Ltd.

Previously, Denis was Chief Commercial Officer at Ledn, a Series B Fintech with a mission to help clients around the world unlock the power of digital assets.

In 2018, Denis was one of the founding members of Silicon Valley Bank Canada (SVB), and between 2018-2022, he held a number of leadership roles supporting the bank's expansion in Canada. Prior to joining SVB, Denis was a strategy consultant who advised a broad set of clients spanning across payments, financial services, travel, exhibitions, and technology.

In 2018, Denis spent six months volunteering for Humana People to People Botswana, an Africa-based non-governmental organization, where he led the development and launch of a corporate funding strategy as well as advised on marketing and go-to-market efforts.

Denis holds an Honours in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Ivey School of Business, and held various Board positions on the Alumni Association's Toronto Chapter between 2013 and 2016.

Outside of work, Denis is an avid outdoors enthusiast and loves to spend time boating and fishing on Georgian Bay. He enjoys immersing himself in the natural world and spends time camping with the wildlife in Southern Africa when time permits!
